The full 18-bedroom Los Castillos estate is more comfortable for 30–40 and allows up to 50. Dos Villas allows up to 35 across two homes, with 25 more comfortable. Ask us to review the room plan before using maximum-capacity arrangements.

Los Castillos are designed for groups of up to 50. Availability varies by configuration and exact dates; open the live listing calendar or contact us to confirm the right setup.
Can we mix and match villas?
Yes. Dos Villas: La Perla + Marena combines neighboring homes for groups that want separate living spaces close together.
How can I compare the total cost with a hotel?
Rates change by villa, dates, and group size. Open each villa’s live calendar for current pricing, then compare the full-stay total with the number of hotel rooms your group would need.
Do you provide catering?
We work with Chef Coty (primary) and Chef Moti (kosher) — both experienced with large group catering in private villas. Ask Mahora about grocery pre-stocking, menus and current service prices; these are separate from the villa reservation.
Is Playacar safe for large groups?
Yes — Playacar Phase 1 is a fully gated community with 24/7 security. All villas are within the community. Ask us about the villa entrance, walking route and arrival arrangements for your group.
How far from the beach?
Our villas are one row behind the ocean, with public beach access a short walk away. Walking time varies by villa, route and pace.

Castillo partial bookings share pool areas with other occupants. For the full estate, the whole estate is reserved for your group. Ask about stairs, bedroom access, bathroom access and dining seats before choosing a property.

A bedroom count is not a guarantee of a private room for every couple. Review the listing's bed arrangements and ask us to confirm bathroom access, shared-space beds and the gathering setup that fits your group.

Plan your stay with confidence
One row back from the ocean
Our villas are one row back from the ocean, rather than directly on the sand. This setting brings more tropical greenery and a calmer environment, with the beach a short walk away.
Celebrations by approval
Parties and celebrations are welcome with prior approval. Playacar’s nighttime noise limit is 65 decibels from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Every celebration requires approval, and any request beyond a villa’s maximum sleeping capacity must be approved in advance. One-night celebrations are very limited and require a US$1,500 security deposit.
Deposit or liability waiver
Every stay requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable liability-waiver fee. The waiver applies only up to its defined coverage limit and subject to its terms. Confirm the applicable amount, coverage and exclusions before booking.
Cancellation grace period
A 100% refund is available within 24 hours of booking. This grace period does not apply to last-minute bookings made 14 days or less before check-in. Review the full cancellation terms for your reservation before confirming.
