Sleeping arrangements, pools and celebration rules
Maximum sleeping capacity may include extra beds or shared-space sleeping. Partial Castillo bookings share pool areas; the full estate reserves the estate for your group. Review the exact layout before choosing.
Celebrations require prior approval of the plan and total attendance. The nighttime noise limit is 65 decibels from 10 PM to 8 AM. One-night celebrations are very limited, require approval and a US$1,500 security deposit.

Can we have a fully kosher kitchen in the villa?
Yes. Our villa kitchens can be set up for kashrut with advance planning. We work with Chef Moti to ensure proper kashering, separate utensils, and certified kosher products. Please discuss your requirements during the inquiry process so we can prepare accordingly.
Can you arrange a Seder night?
Absolutely. Chef Moti handles full Seder catering including traditional foods, Seder plate setup, and Haggadahs. We coordinate all logistics — you just bring your family.
Is there a Jewish community nearby?
Yes — the Chabad Lubavitch of Playa del Carmen is an active Jewish center with a synagogue, mikvah, and Shabbat services. Rabbi Mendel Goldberg and the community warmly welcome visiting Jewish families.
Is there an eruv in Playa del Carmen?
As of our most recent research, there is no formal eruv established in Playa del Carmen. We recommend consulting your local rabbi regarding carrying on Shabbat. Our villas are fully private enclosed estates, which may simplify some questions around carrying within the property.
When is Passover in 2027?
Passover 2027 in Mexico: sunset April 21 through nightfall April 29. We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance as our villas fill quickly during Jewish holidays.
Is Playacar safe for families with children?
