Villa Castillo 2-AB: six bedrooms across two floors
This option reserves the ground and second floors of Castillo 2, with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens and two living areas. It is more comfortable for 8–10 guests, with a maximum sleeping capacity of 16. The top-floor Castillo 2-C penthouse is not included. Pool areas are shared with other occupants of Los Castillos. Children are welcome.

Experience Los Castillos vacation rental located in the exclusive Phase 1 Playacar neighborhood. This listing is for one of the 2 Castillos built in 1995. This property includes two buildings which can be rented together to accommodate parties of up to 50 guests. This listing is for only 16 guests, the first and second floor of Castillo 2. Located at the entrance of Phase 1, the rental is within walking distance to the beach, 5th Ave, and offers a partial ocean view from the rooftop plunge pool and seating area.
Spacious Layout, Rooftop Views & Prime Playacar Location
The ground floor of the rental features a living room that opens directly into the shared front yard pool. An outdoor shower is also available to wash away beach sand. The house is divided into three levels, each with a kitchen and living area, as well as three bedrooms. The open concept and open air architecture allow for a tropical breeze throughout the entire rental. This listing is for 2 of the 3 floors. The gated community and 24-hour security across the street ensure a safe and secure stay. Please note that pets are welcome for an additional fee of $40 per night per pet ($10 refundable deposit and $30 fee), which must be requested after booking. Please also note that the rental does not provide any groceries or beverages, so it is recommended to visit the grocery store after your arrival. Hand soap, dish soap, sponges, towels, shampoo, beach towels, and bath towels are provided. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Los Castillos Villa with Authentic Character and Comfort
Los Castillos villas offer a unique and comfortable vacation experience in a prime location in Playa del Carmen. Built in 1989 and renovated in 2000, they may not have the latest modern amenities, while the separately booked full two-building estate can accommodate up to 50 guests. This listing includes only the configuration described above. Despite being an older property, our team works hard to keep the villas clean and well-maintained.
However, due to the humidity, sun, and salty air in Playa del Carmen, older homes like these may require ongoing maintenance. If any issues arise during your stay, our team, led by Danny, is ready to address them promptly. If you are looking for a newer property, we have other listings available. However, if you appreciate the charm and character of an older home, the Los Castillos villas may be the perfect choice for your vacation.
Please also note that we do not provide groceries, drinking water, or other beverages, so be sure to order everything you need from Paloma for deliveries before your arrival, or take a 2 minute taxi to the store for all of your supplies. We hope you have a wonderful stay at Los Castillos.

Celebrations by approval
Parties and celebrations are welcome with prior approval. Playacar’s nighttime noise limit is 65 decibels from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Every celebration requires approval, and any request beyond a villa’s maximum sleeping capacity must be approved in advance. One-night celebrations are very limited and require a US$1,500 security deposit.
Deposit or liability waiver
Every stay requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable liability-waiver fee. The waiver applies only up to its defined coverage limit and subject to its terms. Confirm the applicable amount, coverage and exclusions before booking.
Cancellation grace period
A 100% refund is available within 24 hours of booking. This grace period does not apply to last-minute bookings made 14 days or less before check-in. Review the full cancellation terms for your reservation before confirming.
