Villa Castillo 2-C: the top-floor apartment
Castillo 2-C is the top-floor apartment in Castillo 2, reached by stairs. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, is more comfortable for six guests and sleeps a maximum of nine. Children are welcome. This penthouse reservation does not include the two lower floors of Castillo 2.
Enjoy shared courtyard and rooftop pool access, including rooftop ocean views. These areas are shared with other occupants, rather than reserved exclusively for the penthouse.

Tropical Rooftop Living with Shared Pool Access
Majestic penthouse in exclusive Phase 1 Playacar. This is the top condo, by stairs, in Castillo 2. Reserve more or all for larger parties up to 50.
Prime location situated at the entrance of Phase 1, you are walking distance to everything. The beach is just 150 meters away, 5th Ave is around the corner and you have a little ocean view from the rooftop where you will find an ocean view and seating area and plunge pool.
Pool is shared with the other condos in the building.
Open concept and open air architecture provides a tropical breeze throughout the entire house.
The villa is in gated Playacar Phase 1, with 24-hour security nearby.
If you would like to bring a pet, just please note that it is an extra fee. It is a 33% refundable charge, $30 per pet per night ($10 refundable deposit and $20 fee). This is a separate charge from the reservation that you will need to ask for after you reserve.
Keep in mind that we do not provide any groceries, drinking water or other beverages for you other than, oil, salt, pepper; so please arrange to order groceries from Chedraui’s website before you arrive so that you will have everything you need when you check in.

Comfort, Convenience & Walkable to Everything
You are walking distance to almost everything you need or want. The beach is just 150 meters away, and you are a 1 minute walk away from 5th ave and the outdoor mall where you can find Starbucks, Zara, H&M etc. Love the Starbucks there with a huge waterfall and massive shade tree.
Keep in mind that we do not provide any groceries, drinking water or other beverages for you other than, oil, salt, pepper; so please arrange to travel for groceries to Chedraui after your arrival. It is a 2 minute cab ride and they are waiting outside for your return.
We do provide hand soap and dish soap with sponges and towels, also shampoo in the showers with a beach towel and bath towel for each guest!
Los Castillos villas offer a unique and comfortable vacation experience in a prime location in Playa del Carmen. Built in 1989 and renovated in 2000, they may not have the latest modern amenities, while the separately booked full two-building estate can accommodate up to 50 guests. This listing includes only the configuration described above. Despite being an older property, our team works hard to keep the villas clean and well-maintained. However, due to the humidity, sun, and salty air in Playa del Carmen, older homes like these may require ongoing maintenance. If any issues arise during your stay, our team, led by Danny, is ready to address them promptly. If you are looking for a newer property, we have other listings available. However, if you appreciate the charm and character of an older home, the Los Castillos villas may be the perfect choice for your vacation.

Celebrations by approval
Parties and celebrations are welcome with prior approval. Playacar’s nighttime noise limit is 65 decibels from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Every celebration requires approval, and any request beyond a villa’s maximum sleeping capacity must be approved in advance. One-night celebrations are very limited and require a US$1,500 security deposit.
Deposit or liability waiver
Every stay requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable liability-waiver fee. The waiver applies only up to its defined coverage limit and subject to its terms. Confirm the applicable amount, coverage and exclusions before booking.
Cancellation grace period
A 100% refund is available within 24 hours of booking. This grace period does not apply to last-minute bookings made 14 days or less before check-in. Review the full cancellation terms for your reservation before confirming.
