Thank you for considering our spacious short term rental property, located in the exclusive and gated Fase 1 Playacar neighborhood. Our property, known as Los Castillos, consists of two “castles” that can sleep up to 50 guests in total. This listing is for both buildings. Each castle has three levels, each with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living room, and wrap around balconies.

One tower even has an unheated rooftop plunge pool. In addition, there is an in-ground pool at the front of the house. Neither are heated as it is really never necessary with the hot weather in Playa del Carmen.

Our property is located just a 3 minute walk from the beach and 5th Ave, and is the perfect choice for families or groups looking to stay together. We are also within walking distance of cafes, shops, and the ferry to Cozumel.

We offer fast internet with speeds up to 1000Mbps, and can connect you with drivers, grocery delivery, masseuses, chefs, and tour guides upon request. Please note that we do not provide groceries, drinking water, or other beverages. We do, however, provide hand soap, dish soap, sponges, towels, shampoo, and beach towels for all guests.

Book early to secure your stay at our rare and spacious Los Castillos property. We also have the option to book each castle separately, each with 9 bedrooms, for parties of 25 or fewer. These can be booked 6 months in advance. Additionally, we have condos that sleep 8 people each, which can be rented separately 1-2 months in advance.

Other things to note for Los Castillos Playacar 50

The building does not have a working dishwasher. There is an old one on each floor but it does not function.

Keep in mind that we do not provide any groceries, drinking water or other beverages for you other than, oil, salt, pepper; so please arrange to make a shopping run for groceries at Chedraui or Walmart. Its an easy 2 minute cab ride.
We do provide hand soap and dish soap with sponges and towels, also shampoo in the showers with a beach towel and bath towel for each guest.

*All properties require a security deposit payment after the reservation ($3000usd). This can be made by a full refundable payment of the deposit, or by paying for a nonrefundable insurance policy. ($118usd) This transaction takes place after a reservation has been confirmed and paid and will be separate from the reservation payment.

*At Los Castillos, our cancellation policy offers a 100% refund for cancellations made 12 months prior to the reservation date, a 75% refund for cancellations made 9-12 months prior, a 50% refund for cancellations made 6-9 months prior, and a 25% refund for cancellations made 3-6 months prior.

Please note that cancellations made less than 3 months prior to the reservation date are non-refundable. Our policy reflects our commitment to accommodating large groups, who typically plan their reservations far in advance.

**Los Castillos villas offer a unique and comfortable vacation experience in a prime location in Playa del Carmen. Built in 1989 and renovated in 2000, they may not have the latest modern amenities, but they can accommodate large groups of up to 50 guests. Despite being an older property, our team works hard to keep the villas clean and well-maintained.

However, due to small pipes, the humidity, sun, and salty air in Playa del Carmen, older homes like these may require ongoing maintenance and care. If any issues arise during your stay, our team, led by Danny, is ready to address them promptly.
