Escape to the Palmeiras 38 penthouse apartment in Playa del Carmen (PDC) for a unique boho-style vacation experience at prices that are at least 10% lower than what you’ll find on Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com. Located just off 34th Calle / 40 Ave and west of Mamita’s Beach club, this stunning vacation rental is beautiful and budget friendly.
The apartment features an inground pool/courtyard with plenty of chaise lounge chairs, floor-to-ceiling windows with drapes, and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas range, refrigerator, and washer and dryer. The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and local artisan furniture, and has a balcony with city views.
The living room has a modern design with touches of local flair. The apartment is equipped with AC and ceiling fans to keep it comfortable during hot summers.
Pet owners are welcome to bring their furry friends for an additional fee of $30 per pet per night, which includes a $10 refundable deposit and a $20 fee. There is also a free parking spot on the premises.
Our vacation rental is just a 10-15 minute walk from the beach, or a quick $1.50 taxi ride to 5th Ave, the “Magnificent Mile” of Playa del Carmen. 34th Ave has many affordable shops and restaurants, such as Frescos for a $4 breakfast or Aguachiles for the best seafood dishes.
Please note that the complex does not provide any groceries, drinking water, or other beverages, so make sure to stop at the local Chedraui or order these from Paloma our preferred personal shopper before arriving. However, the apartment does come with hand soap, dish soap, sponges, towels, shampoo, and beach and bath towels for each guest.
The complex’s pool and lounge chairs are available for use from 8am to 10pm, and you will have contactless entry through a lockbox. The apartment also has fast WiFi with speeds of 250-300Mbps and 56 cable channels.
*All properties require a security deposit payment after the reservation ($500usd). This can be made by a full refundable payment of the deposit, or by paying for a nonrefundable insurance policy. ($29usd) This transaction takes place after a reservation has been confirmed and paid and will be separate from the reservation payment.
